P ero Jonatán no había oído cuando su padre conjuró al pueblo, y extendió la punta de una vara que traía en su mano, y la mojó en un panal de miel, y llevó su mano a su boca; y sus ojos fueron aclarados.

But Jonathan heard not when his father charged the people with the oath: wherefore he put forth the end of the rod that was in his hand, and dipped it in an honeycomb, and put his hand to his mouth; and his eyes were enlightened.
