Y los bárbaros nos mostraron no poca humanidad; porque, encendido un gran fuego, nos recibieron a todos, a causa de la lluvia que venía, y del frío.

The natives showed us uncommon kindness; for they kindled a fire, and received us all, because of the present rain, and because of the cold.
