E ntonces mandó el rey al mismo Ebed-melec etíope, diciendo: Toma en tu poder treinta hombres de aquí, y haz sacar a Jeremías profeta de la mazmorra, antes que muera.

Then the king told Ebed-melech the Ethiopian, “I am giving you the power to take thirty men with you, and bring Jeremiah the man of God up from the well before he dies.”
