Y o os conjuro, oh doncellas de Jerusalén, por las gamas y por las ciervas del campo, que no despertéis ni hagáis velar al amor, hasta que él quiera.

I have adjured you, daughters of Jerusalem, By the roes or by the hinds of the field, Stir not up nor wake the love till she please!
