E ntonces Gedalías les hizo juramento, a ellos y a los suyos, y les dijo: No tengáis temor de los siervos de los caldeos; habitad en la tierra, y servid al rey de Babilonia, y os irá bien.

Then Gedaliah swore to them and to their men and said unto them, Do not fear the slaves of the Chaldees; dwell in the land and serve the king of Babylon, and it shall be well with you.
