P artiendo luego de allí se encontró con Jonadab hijo de Recab; y después que lo hubo saludado, le dijo: ¿Es recto tu corazón, como el mío es recto con el tuyo? Y Jonadab dijo: Lo es. Pues si lo es, dame la mano. Y él le dio su mano y lo hizo subir consigo en el carro.

When Jehu left there, he met Jehonadab son of Rechab coming to meet him. He saluted him and said to him, Is your heart right, as my heart is with yours? Jehonadab answered, It is. If it is, give me your hand. He gave him his hand, and Jehu took him up into the chariot.
