S u boca entraba en el capitel (en el remate que salía de la basa) un codo para arriba; y era su boca redonda, de la hechura (del mismo remate) de la basa, de codo y medio. Había también sobre la boca entalladuras con sus cintas, las cuales eran cuadradas, no redondas.

And the mouth of it within the capital and above was a cubit: and the mouth thereof was round after the work of a pedestal, a cubit and a half; and also upon the mouth of it were gravings, and their panels were foursquare, not round.
