E ntonces Absalón y todos los de Israel dijeron: El consejo de Husai, el arquita, es mejor que el consejo de Ahitofel. Porque el SEÑOR había mandado que el acertado consejo de Ahitofel fuera disipado, para que el SEÑOR hiciera venir el mal sobre Absalón.

Absalom and all the men of Israel said, “The counsel of Hushai the Archite is better than the counsel of Ahithophel.” For Yahweh had ordained to defeat the good counsel of Ahithophel, to the intent that Yahweh might bring evil on Absalom.
