ف َأجابَ اللهُ صَمُوئِيلَ: «افعَلْ ما طَلَبَهُ الشَّعبُ مِنكَ. إنَّهُمْ لا يَرفُضُونَكَ أنتَ، بَلْ يَرفُضُونَنِي أنا. إذْ لا يُرِيدُونَنِي أنْ أكُونَ مَلِكاً عَلَيهِمْ.
