و َعِندَما وَصَلَ داوُدُ إلَى صِقلِغَ، أرسَلَ بَعضاً مِنَ الأشياءِ الَّتِي غَنِمَها مِنْ عَمالِيقَ إلَى أصدِقائِهِ قادَةِ يَهُوذا. وَقالَ لَهُمْ: «هَذِهِ هَدِيَّةٌ لَكُمْ أخَذناها منْ أعداءِ اللهِ.»
