ف َحَلَفَ شاوُلُ لِلمَرأةِ بِاسْمِ اللهِ وَقالَ: «أُقسِمُ بِاللهِ الحَيِّ، لَنْ تُعاقَبِي عَلَى ما أطلُبُهُ مِنكَ.»

Saul swore to her by Yahweh, saying, “As Yahweh lives, no punishment will happen to you for this thing.”
