ﺻﻤﻮﺋﻴﻞ ﺍﻷﻭﻝ 27:11 ~ 1 Samuel 27:11

و َلَمْ يُحضِرْ داوُدُ أسِيراً أوْ أسِيرَةً مَعَهُ إلَى جَتَّ. فَقَدْ قالَ فِي نَفسِهِ: «إنْ أبقَيتُ عَلَى أحَدٍ مِنهُمْ حَيّاً، فَرُبَّما يُخبِرُ أخِيشَ بِحَقِيقَةِ ما فَعَلتُهُ.» هَكَذا كانَ يَفعَلُ داوُدُ طَوالَ مُدَّةِ إقامَتِهِ فِي أرْضِ الفِلِسْطِيِّينَ.

And David left neither man nor woman alive, to bring to Gath, for he said, Lest they should tell of us, saying, So did David. And such was his custom as long as he abode in the country of the Philistines.
