ف اختارَ شاوُلُ ثَلاثَةَ آلافِ رَجُلٍ مِنْ جَمِيعِ أنحاءِ إسْرائِيلَ وَبَدَأ يَبحَثُ عَنْ داوُدَ وَرِجالِهِ. فَفَتَّشَ عَنهُمْ قُرْبَ مِنْطَقَةِ عَيْنِ جَديٍ.
