ف َقالَ لِداوُدَ: «احْذَرْ فَأبي شاوُلُ يَتَحَيَّنُ الفُرَصَ لقَتلكَ. فاذهَبْ في الصَّباحِ وَاختَبِئْ فِي الحَقلِ.
