ف َرَجِعَ الرِّجالُ وَأخبَرُوا شاوُلَ، لَكِنَّهُ أعادَهُمْ لِكَي يَرَوا داوُدَ. وَقالَ لَهُمْ: «أحضرُوا داوُدَ إلَيَّ. اجلِبُوهُ عَلَى فِراشهِ إنْ كانَ ذَلِكَ ضَرُورِيّاً، لأقْتُلَهُ.»

And Saul sent the messengers to see David, saying, Bring him up to me in the bed, that I may put him to death.
