ف َنَظَرَ جُلياتُ إلَى داوُدَ باشْمِئزازٍ وَاحْتِقارٍ، إذْ رَأى أنَّ داوُدَ مُجَرَّدُ وَلَدٍ وَسِيمٍ أحْمَرِ الوَجْهِ.
