ف َأجابَ شاوُلُ: «لا تَقدِرُ أنْ تَذهَبَ وَتُنازِلَ هَذا الفِلِسْطِيَّ، فَلَستَ حَتَّى جُندِيّاً. أمّا جُلياتُ فاشتَرَكَ فِي الحُرُوبِ مُنذُ صِباهُ.»

And Saul saith unto David, `Thou art not able to go unto this Philistine, to fight with him, for a youth thou, and he a man of war from his youth.'
