و َقالَ الفِلِسْطِيُّ: «أقِفُ اليَومَ مُعَبِّراً عَنِ احتِقارِي لِجَيشِ إسْرائِيلَ. فَأنا أتَحَدّاكُمْ أنْ تُرسلُوا أحَدَ رِجالِكُمْ لِيُقاتِلَنِي.»
