ف َبَدَأ أفضَلُ جُنُودِهِمِ الهُجُومَ. وَانقَسَمَ الجَيشُ الفِلِسْطِيُّ إلَى ثَلاثِ فِرَقٍ. ذَهَبَتْ فِرقَةٌ شَمالاً فِي طَرِيقِ عَفرَةَ قُربَ شُوعالَ.
