و َفِي ذَلِكَ اليَومِ سَمَّى يُوآشُ جِدْعَوْنَ «يَرُبَّعَلَ،» بِمَعْنَى: «لِيُواجِهْهُ البَعلُ إذاً، لِأنَّهُ هَدَمَ مَذْبَحَهُ.» جِدْعُونُ يَهْزِمُ المِدْيانِيِّين

Therefore, on that day he called him Jerubbaal, saying, Let Baal contend against him because he has thrown down his altar.
