ع ِندَما سَكَنَ بَنُو إسْرائِيلَ حَشْبُونَ وَقُراها، وَعَرُوعِيرَ وَقُراها، وَفِي كُلِّ المُدُنِ عَلَى ضِفافِ نَهْرِ أرنُونَ هَذِهِ الثَّلاثَ مِئَةِ سَنَةٍ، لِماذا لَمْ تَسْتَعِدْها مِنْهُمْ فِي ذَلِكَ الوَقتِ؟

While Israel dwelt in Heshbon and its dependent villages, and in Aroer and its dependent villages, and in all the cities that are along the banks of the Arnon, three hundred years—why did ye not recover within that time?
