ف َأزالُوا الآلِهَةَ الغَرِيبَةَ مِنْ بَينِهِمْ، وَعَبَدُوا اللهَ. لَكِنَّ اللهَ لَمْ يَكُنْ قَدْ رَضيَ تَماماً عَنْ إسرائيلَ. اختِيارُ يَفتاح

They put away the foreign gods from among them, and served Yahweh; and his soul was grieved for the misery of Israel.
