و َأجبَرَ الأمُورِيُّونَ بَنِي دانَ عَلَى العَوْدَةِ إلَى المِنْطَقَةِ الجَبَلِيَّةِ، وَلَمْ يَسْمَحُوا لَهُمْ بِالنُّزُولِ إلَى السَّهلِ،

The Amorites drove the people of Dan into the hill country. They did not let them come down to the valley.
