و َصَرَخَ المَلاكُ بِصَوتٍ هادِرٍ وَقالَ: «قَدْ سَقَطَتْ! بابِلُ العَظِيمَةُ قَدْ سَقَطَتْ! أصبَحَتْ مَسكِناً لِلأرواحِ الشِّرِّيرَةِ، وَوَكْراً لِكُلِّ رُوحٍ نَجِسٍ. صارَتْ عُشّاً لِكُلِّ طائِرٍ.
