و َهَذا رَمْزٌ يُمَثِّلُ المَعموديَّةَ الَّتِي تُنقِذُكُمُ الآنَ أيضاً، لا بِأنْ نَغسِلَ الجِسْمَ الخارِجِيِّ بِالماءِ، بَلْ بِأنْ نَطلَبَ مِنَ اللهِ ضَمِيراً صالِحاً، فَنَخلُصَ بِقِيامَةِ يَسُوعَ المَسِيحِ مِنَ المَوتِ.
