و َارتَدُوا أحذِيَةً مُهتَرِئَةً مُرَقَّعَةً وَثِياباً مُهتَرِئَةً. وَكانَ كُلُّ خُبْزِهِمْ يابِساً أوْ مُتَعَفِّناً أوْ مُتَكَسِّراً.

old and patched sandals on their feet, and old garments on themselves; and all the bread of their provision was dry and moldy.
