و َعَمِلَ يَشُوعُ مُعاهَدَةَ سَلامٍ مَعَهُمُ اسْتَبْقاهُمْ بِمُوجِبِها أحْياءَ. وَقَدْ أقسَمَ قادَةُ بَنِي إسْرائِيلَ لَهُمْ.

Joshua made peace with them and made an agreement with them, to let them live. And the leaders of the people made a promise to them.
