و َتَظاهَرَ يَشُوعُ وَكُلُّ جَيشِ إسْرائِيلَ بِالانهِزامِ أمامَهُمْ، فَهَرَبُوا نَحْوَ البَرِّيَّةِ.

Joshua and all Israel pretended to be beaten before them, and fled by the way of the wilderness.
