و َأخَذَ يَشُوعُ خَمسَةَ آلافِ رَجُلٍ وَجَعَلَهُمْ يَكْمُنُونَ بَينَ بَيْتَ إيلَ وَعايَ إلَى الغَرْبِ مِنَ المَدِينَةِ.

And he took about five thousand men and set them in ambush between Bethel and Ai, west of the city.
