ل َكِنْ لَنْ يَكُونَ لِلّاوِيِّينَ حِصَّةٌ فِي الأرْضِ بَينَكُمْ لِأنَّ كَهَنُوتَ اللهِ هُوَ مِيراثُهُمْ. وَأمّا جادُ وَرَأُوبَيْنَ وَنِصْفُ قَبِيلَةِ مَنَسَّى فَقَدْ أخَذُوا مِيراثَهُمْ فِي الجِهَةِ الشَّرقِيَّةِ مِنَ نَهْرِ الأُردُنِّ الَّذِي أعطاهُ مُوسَى خادِمُ اللهِ لَهُمْ.»
