ل َمْ يَكُنِ العالَمُ جَدِيراً بِهِمْ. هامُوا فِي الصَّحارَى وَالجِبالِ، وَعاشُوا فِي كُهُوفٍ وَمَغايِرَ فِي الأرْضِ.

(of whom the world was not worthy:) they wandered in deserts, and in mountains, and in dens and caves of the earth.
