و َقَدْ كانُوا شَعباً قَوِيّاً وَكَثِيراً وَطَوِيلاً كَالعَناقِيِّينَ. لَكِنَّ اللهَ أهلَكَهُمْ مِنْ أمامِ العَمُّونِيِّينَ. فَطَرَدَهُمُ العَمُّونِيُّونَ وَسَكَنُوا مَكانَهُمْ.
