ﺍﻟﺘﺜﻨﻴﺔ 19:6 ~ Deuteronomy 19:6

و َإنْ لَمْ يَهْرُبْ، فَإنَّ قَرِيبَ المَيِّتِ الَّذِي يَثأرُ لِدَمِهِ، سَيَسْعَى وَراءَهُ عِندَ اشْتِدادِ غَضَبِهِ. وَيُمسِكُهُ إنْ كانَ بَعِيداً عَنْ مَدِينَةِ اللُّجُوءِ وَيَقتُلُهُ. مَعَ أنَّهُ لا يَستَحِقُّ حُكمَ المَوتِ، لِأنَّهُ لَمْ يَقْتُلْ بِدَافِعِ الكَراهِيَّةِ.

Or else the one who is angry will want to punish him for the killing, and will catch him and kill him. But the killer should not be put to death, because he had not hated the man in the past.
