ل َكِنَّهُمْ كانُوا يَسْمَعُونَ النّاسَ يَقُولُونَ: «إنَّ الَّذِي كانَ يُسِيئُ إلَينا سابِقاً، يُبَشِّرُ الآنَ بِالإيمانِ الَّذِي حاوَلَ أنْ يُدَمِّرَهُ!»

and only they were hearing, that `he who is persecuting us then, doth now proclaim good news -- the faith that then he was wasting;'
