و َإلّا فَإنَّهُ إذا جاءَ مَعِي بَعضُ المَكدُونِيِّيْنَ وَوَجَدناكُمْ غَيرُ مُستَعِدِّيْنَ، فَسَنُحرَجُ، وَأنتُمْ أيضاً سَتُحرَجُون!

non vorrei che, venendo con me dei Macedoni e non vedendovi pronti, noi (per non dire voi) abbiamo a vergognarci di questa nostra fiducia.
