ك انَتِ الخَطِيَّةُ فِي العالَمِ قَبلَ إعلانِ الشَّرِيعَةِ. لَكِنَّ الخَطِيَّةَ لا تُحسَبُ إنْ لَمْ تَكُنْ هُناكَ شَرِيعَةٌ.

(For until the law sin was in the world: but sin is not imputed when there is no law.
