و َعِندَما رَكَضَ فِيلِبُّسُ إلَى العَرَبَةِ، سَمِعَ الرَّجُلَ يَقرَأُ كِتابَ النَّبِيِّ إشَعْياءَ. فَقالَ لَهُ فِيلِبُّسُ: «أتَفهَمُ ما تَقرَأُهُ؟»

and Philip having run near, heard him reading the prophet Isaiah, and said, `Dost thou then know what thou dost read?'
