« لَكِنَّ آباءَنا لَمْ يَشاءُوا أنْ يُطِيعُوهُ، بَلْ إنَّهُمْ رَفَضُوهُ، وَحَنَّتْ قُلُوبُهُمْ إلَى العَودَةِ إلَى مِصرَ.

“Our early fathers would not listen to him. They did not obey him. In their hearts they wanted to go back to the country of Egypt.
