ف َتَصَدَّى لَهُ بَعضُ أعضاءِ مَجمَعِ «المُتَحَرِّرونَ،» كَما كانَ يُدعَى. وَكانَ هَؤُلاءِ يَهُوداً مِنَ قِيرِينَ وَالاسكَندَرِيَّةِ، وَمِنْ كِيلِيْكِيّا وَأسِيّا، فَراحُوا يُجادِلُونَ إستِفانُوسَ.
