و َكانَتْ قُربَ ذَلِكَ المَكانِ حُقُولٌ لِرَجُلٍ اسْمُهُ بُوبلِيُوسَ، وَهُوَ أحَدُ وُجَهاءِ تِلْكَ المِنطَقَةِ. فَرَحَّبَ بِنا فِي بَيتِهِ، وَاستَضافَنا بِكُلِّ كَرَمٍ ثَلاثَةَ أيّامٍ.

Cerca de aquellos lugares había propiedades del hombre principal de la isla, llamado Publio, quien nos recibió y hospedó amistosamente tres días.
