ل َكِنَّ الضّابِطَ أرادَ أنْ يُنقِذَ بُولُسَ، فَمَنَعَهُمْ مِنْ تَنفِيذِ خِطَّتِهِمْ. فَأمَرَ القادِرِينَ عَلَى السِّباحَةِ بِأنْ يَقفِزُوا مِنْ فَوقِ السَّفِينَةِ أوَّلاً وَيَتَّجِهُوا إلَى البَرِّ.
