و َعِندَما بَدَأتْ تَهُبُّ رِيحٌ جَنُوبِيَّةٌ لَطِيفَةٌ، اعتَقَدُوا أنَّهُمْ نالُوا مُرادَهُمْ. فَرَفَعُوا مِرساةَ السَّفِينَةِ، وَأبحَرُوا عَلَى طُولِ ساحِلِ كرِيتَ.
So when the south wind blew softly, supposing they were gaining their object, they weighed anchor and sailed along Crete, hugging the coast.
