و َعِندَما استُدعِيَ بُولُسُ، بَدَأ تَرْتُلُّسُ يُقَدِّمُ التُّهَمَ أمامَ فِيلِكْسَ فَقالَ: «إنَّنا نَتَمَتَّعُ بِقِسطٍ وافِرٍ مِنَ السَّلامِ بِسَبَبِكَ، وَالإصلاحاتُ الَّتِي أُدخِلَتْ مِنْ أجلِ هَذا الشَّعبِ كانَتْ بِفَضلِ بُعدِ نَظَرِكَ.
