ﺍﻋﻤﺎﻝ ﺍﻟﺮﺳﻞ 16:37 ~ Acts 16:37

ل َكِنَّ بُولُسَ قالَ لِلجُنُودِ: «ضَرَبُونا عَلَى مَرأىً مِنَ النّاسِ دُونَ أنْ يُثبِتُوا عَلَينا ذَنباً، مَعَ أنَّنا مُواطِنانِ رُومانِيِّانِ، ثُمَّ ألقَوْا بِنا فِي السِّجنِ. وَها هُمُ الآنَ يُرِيدُونَ أنْ يَصرِفُونا سِرّاً؟ وَهَذا لَنْ يَكُونَ! عَلَيهِمْ أنْ يَأْتُوا بِأنفُسِهِمْ وَيُخرِجُونا.»

But Paul said to them, “They have beaten us publicly, without a trial, men who are Romans, and have cast us into prison! Do they now release us secretly? No, most certainly, but let them come themselves and bring us out!”
