ه َذا هُوَ التِّلمِيْذُ الَّذِي يَشهَدُ بِهَذِهِ الأُمُورِ، وَهُوَ الَّذِي دَوّنَها. وَنَحنُ نَعلَمُ أنَّ شَهادَتُهُ صَحِيْحَةٌ.

This is the disciple which testifieth of these things, and wrote these things: and we know that his testimony is true.
