و َكانَ الجُنُودُ، بَعدَ أنْ صَلَبُوا يَسُوعَ، قَدْ أخَذُوا ثِيابَهُ وَقَسَّمُوها إلَى أربَعَةِ أقسامٍ. وَأخَذَ كُلُّ جُندِيٍّ قِسْماً مِنْها. وَأخَذُوا أيضاً قَمِيْصَهُ الطَّوِيلَ، لَكِنَّ القَمِيْصَ كانَ قِطعَةً واحِدَةً مَنسُوجَةً بِغَيْرِ خِياطَةٍ مِنَ الأعلَى إلَى الأسفَلِ.

Then the soldiers, when they had crucified Jesus, took his garments and made four parts (to each soldier a part); and also his coat: now the coat was without seam, woven from the top throughout.
