و َكانَ سِمعانُ بُطرُسُ ما يَزالُ واقِفاً يَتَدَفَّأُ، فَسَألَهُ الواقِفُونَ مَعَهُ: «ألَسْتَ أنتَ أيضاً مِنْ أتباعِهِ؟» لَكِنَّهُ أنكَرَ وَقالَ: «لا، لَسْتُ كَذَلِكَ!»
