« أيُّها الآبُ، أُريدُ أنْ يَكونَ هؤلاءِ الَّذين وَهَبتَهُم لي معي حيثُ أكونُ. لأنِّي أُريدُهُمْ أنْ يَرَوا مجدي، المَجدَ الّذي أعطَيتَني إياهُ لأنَّكَ أحبَبتَني قَبلَ أن يُخلَقَ العالَمُ.

Father, those whom thou hast given me, I desire that where I am they also may be with me, that they may behold my glory which thou hast given me, for thou lovedst me before foundation of world.
