و َكانَ عِيْدُ الفِصْحِ اليَهُودِيِّ قَدِ اقْتَرَبَ، فَذَهَبَ كَثِيْرُونَ مِنَ الرِّيْفِ إلَى مَدِيْنَةِ القُدْسِ قَبلَ الفِصْحِ لِيُطَهِّرُوا أنفُسَهُمْ.

And the Jews' passover was nigh at hand: and many went out of the country up to Jerusalem before the passover, to purify themselves.
