و َلا تُدْرِكُونَ أنَّهُ لِمَصلَحَتِنا أنْ يَمُوتَ رَجُلٌ واحِدٌ عَنِ الشَّعبِ. فَهَذا أفْضَلُ مِنْ أنْ تَمُوتَ الأُمَّةُ بِكامِلِها.»

nor consider that it is profitable for you that one man die for the people, and not that the whole nation perish.
